How To Fix Overflow of Rain Gutters?

Gutters that overflow can be seen as a serious problem to your home’s foundation and walls. If your gutters overflows when there’s a heavy rain, either the down spots and/or the rain gutters are clogged, the gutters are hanging down and thereby preventing water from reaching towards the downspouts, or the rain gutters and downspouts are not large enough to control the volume of the rain runoff.

In most of the cases, rain gutters overflow because of leaves and debris are clogging or blocking them, essentially creating dams that prevent the flow of water from flowing to the outlets above the downspouts. In fact, these clogs often occur directly at the outlets. When this is the scenario, it’s time to clean out the rain gutters.
